Secondary - International Curriculum

The Secondary years curriculum is based on the Cambridge Secondary Curriculum for students aged 11 - 16, working towards completing their IGCSEs at the completion of Year 11. At this stage, our program is aimed at meeting the academic, social and emotional needs of our adolescent learners, encouraging them to be a resilient and ambitious individual who will take responsibility for their decisions and their future.

Students go through two important stages during their Secondary years - Key Stage 3 (Year 7 - Year 9) and Key Stage 4 (Year 10 and Year 11), which fully prepares them for their pre-university years.

Curriculum

We use the Cambridge Secondary Curriculum during their Secondary years, while participating in our formulated HENKAN approach as our main tool to help our students to achieve their maximum potential.

The Secondary years curriculum is delivered through the following subjects areas in two Key Stages

Areas of Development

The programme focuses on the well-rounded growth of the learners, nurturing a love of learning and encourages the necessary key skills and personal qualities to become lifelong learners. Incorporated with our HENKAN approach that exposes students to repeated experiences and struggles, our teachers are trained to understand and be able to personalize their approach for every student to maximize their learning outcomes.
